Pixel × NWSL

A little context.

The National Women’s Soccer League has no shortage of speed, skill, or personality. This Google Pixel film brings all three into focus, featuring Sophia Wilson, Trinity Rodman, Asisat Oshoala, Alyssa Thompson, and Gisele Thompson. Directed by Josefine Cardoni for ROBOT and SOFTSPOT, the work puts the players’ presence at the heart of the story. Featured here is the director’s cut, with the camera keeping pace with a league that moves fast.
